Since 2020, Lies Have a Price has been exposing the high cost of the disinformation industry surrounding climate, the environment, and hate speech in Brazil. Our mission is to support the development of a well-informed and resilient society against climate disinformation through educational tools, expert consulting, and awareness campaigns.

The disinformation machine has just one strategy: to serve the interests of a select few. We've exposed its inner workings, and here you’ll get to see it all.
COLUMNS
The global event gathered 120 participants in Brasília and dozens more online around one shared purpose: information integrity is key to the success of any climate action. Among those present were representatives from governments, embassies, the UN, UNESCO, companies, journalists, civil society, scientists, local leaders, and communicators. At the Summit, the Brazilian government announced it would include climate information integrity at COP30. One day after the event, the Brazilian chapter of the Global Initiative for Climate Information Integrity was launched. Three months later, for the first time in COP history, the issue entered the official Action Agenda.
Our comedy show tackling climate disinformation—created in partnership with comedian Victor Camejo—won an international social impact award.
More than 40 stories published in partnership with InfoAmazonia and made available for free republication.
